The sweet and appealing features of pugs make them popular among others. Pugs are the oldest dog breeds originating in Asia because of their appearance. In the 1500s, when Europe began trading with Asia, the Pug found its way to Holland and became famous all over the continent.

They have a large head and deep-set wrinkles that need to get cleaned to prevent various infections.   They have short fur ranging from black to a light tan color and have black masks on their face.

FOLLOWING ARE THE PUG MIXES:

  • Husky And Pug Mix, which you can refer to as Pugsky or Hug:

It is a small to medium dog, about 10 to 23 inches tall, and weighs between 14 to 36 pounds. They have a stocky and muscular bodies bearing the Pug’s trademark facial folds. 

  • Brussels Griffon and Pug Mix:

They are Brugs significantly different in appearance from one to another. They are affectionate and great with small children. They might cost you around $1400. 

  • Corgi and Pug Mix:

Porgi is a crossbreed of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi and the Pug. They are known for their companionship and draw its trait from the two parent breeds. They are brilliant and require strict training early on. The Porgi are very vocal dogs who tend to bark at anything. 

  • Pomeranian and Pug Mix: The Pompug

These short, unique-looking dogs need to socialize early to avoid aggression toward animals and strangers. The Daug weighs around 15 to 26 pounds and is approximately 11 inches in size. It has a low to moderate shedding and smooth or wiry shorthaired coat. 

  • English Bulldog and Pug Mix – Bull pug:

They are fun-loving, playful, and dependable pugs. The Bullpups might be sensitive to heat like their parents. However, they are not clingy and can spend considerable time without your attention. They are perfect pets for small children. They easily get along with other canines. 

  • Yorkshire Terrier and Pug Mix – Pug shire:

This dog is extremely small because both of its parents are toy dogs. They do not exceed 12 pounds, so they are perfect for apartment living. It is not the most popular dog breed, so it is less costly. You can expect to buy it for about $45 to $350. It is difficult to find them, and their training might take a bit longer than expected. 

  • Australian Shepherd and Pug Mix:

They are Australian Shepugs. It has four recognized colors with several variations within each bloom. It costs around $600 to $800 and is quite easy to get. It weighs around 50 to 65 pounds and has a height of 19 to 21 inches. You can find the pugs in the following colors:

  • Beagle and Pug Mix – Puggle:

They are popular across the US!

The Puggle has short legs, a stocky, thicket body with large eyes, and a black muzzle. They come in tan, fawn, and rich brown colors. Its double coat has a straight, smooth finish covering the dense undercoat.  

  • Basset Hound and Pug Mix – Bassugg:

Instead of thinking about what a pug is mixed with and hesitating in buying one, research its personality traits and then start its training. The Bassuggs weighs around 12 to 20 pounds and are highly affectionate and lovable. They are smart and patient dogs who can easily spend time with strangers.

  • Boxer and Pug Mix- Boxer:

The Boxer Pugs are known for their short face and flabby folds on their snout. They are good watchdogs and require a lot of exercise and training. These adorable Boxers are perfect house pets and have different energy levels during activities.
